I would recommend watching the show before reading this book. Normally, I would say book first, but because this is just the background story of one of the characters of a television show, I would switch the order.

There was part of of the story that while interesting and informative, but probably would not be included if the actor did not have a scar.

Overall, it was nice to get some of the background information for the characters, but also, parts of it didn’t seem to fit with what the actual show presents.
