Verdigris Deep

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Verdigris Deep is a crazy ride of a read. It is great for those that like things to be more fast paced.

When three kids take coins from a wishing well to pay for bus passes, they get way more than they asked for. The things that happen would work well in a horror movie. It starts out fine, but quickly goes down hill. Josh is kind of like the kid parents warn you to stay away from. He pushes the story along, but he is also terrifying. Ryan is just sort of there. I don’t really know what to say about him. He is not really memorable, and seems like a second rate character, even though he is the main, or at least one of the main characters. Chelle was on the complete opposite end from Josh. I just wanted to protect her, and felt like her character was more believable than the others.
