For the most part, this was a really cute book. Dakota ended up being too much for me, which made it difficult to read.

I am glad that the book shows that kids are capable of working together and coming up with solutions without relying on adults to hold their hands every step of the way. I think it’s important for kids to see that their ideas are just as valid as any adults.
