Zeke Meeks Vs the Annoying Princess Sing-Along by D.L. GreenMy rating: 2 of 5 stars
This was kind of a cute story. Zeke wants to be seen as cool, he is a kid after all, but it seems like he is always in competition with others in his class. Even though he is still young, he has to decide what is more important, trying to one up a classmate, or making his little sister happy doing something that is decidedly not cool.
As an adult, I don’t think I will read it again, but I highly recommend this book to elementary age kids. Zeke isn’t just another character in a book, but one that has to make choices that real kids have to make and the consequences of his choices is shown. He reminds me of a real kid, and that is something readers can relate to.
