I must admit, I am still slightly confused as to why Bear felt that a book about pickles was something he needed in his life, but okay. It was a cute story that shows children that there are great things out there to discover if they are willing to get out of their comfort zone and try something new. It also shows kids how great a library can be, which I feel is something many kids don’t understand anymore.
All in all, cute book and illustrations.
