This series is messing with me. I keep thinking I know what side characters are on, and then BAM, totally different. I don’t think I trust any of them anymore. This book is action packed. Because of the conflict between the caretakers, even traveling from one spot to another in the sanctuary has become a dangerous activity.
I liked the addition of locations and characters. Wyrmroost is a dragon sanctuary, but the new characters and locations helped show why they needed to stop Celebrant from having complete control. I do have to wonder what Seth and Kendra are going to do when they can’t get any advice or help from Patton. He gets them out of a lot of difficult situations.
I have to wonder what is going to happen in the next book to Seth. Saying anything would be spoiling it, but he is in a difficult situation that could prove the downfall of the sanctuary.
