Dad Is Fat by Jim GaffiganMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
I have to say, I think Jim is a much better father than he says he is. I’ve known some bad ones, and they wouldn’t care even a quarter as much as he does.
When I got to the parts about sleeping arrangements, it made me wonder what the plan is for when the kids get older. Of course, this book is a few years old, so I’m sure they have it figured out now.
The stories made me laugh, but I have to wonder, what the kids think reading this book. Some stories could be any random child, but others I feel his kids are one day going to question him about. At least he makes up for it a little by talking about his childhood and adding come photos of himself, so maybe it evens out.
