I’m not going to lie, I’ve been reading these books out of order. I started with book 5 not knowing who any of the characters were or their backstories. Now that I have finally read the first one, it makes me appreciate what happens in the fifth one more. I am going to go through and actually read the rest of the books in the series.

This is an enjoyable series with enough adventure and mystery to keep you entertained and prevent that dreaded feeling of knowing what is going to happen before it does.
