This book is filled with gallows humor, which admittedly, some people might not find funny at all. I am not one of those people. I will admit, there were some rhymes that I did not understand. I read them a couple times with no clue as to what was going on, but that didn’t happen often.
I liked the fact that for most of the rhymes, you don’t find out what the crime is until the end. It reads just like a normal rhyme until you get to the end, where suddenly the whole thing takes on a different meaning.
