The Map to Everywhere

The Map to Everywhere (Map to Everywhere, #1)The Map to Everywhere by Carrie Ryan
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is one of those books that I randomly picked up at the library because the title sounded interesting. So, score one for drawing a reader in before they even know what the book is about.

I’m not really big into high-fantasy, but this one has enough of a grounding in reality, that I wouldn’t classify it as such entirely. Maybe it was all the plays on words that really made it enjoyable for me. There were many moments while reading that I would suddenly realize the subtle humor and enjoy the scene more than I already was.

Carrie Ryan created a great world with adventure, humor, and mystery. Even though it is a middle-grade series, I plan on reading the rest of it, because really, I want to know the story behind Fin. Something is going on there, and I want to know what it is.
