Spy School Secret Service by Stuart GibbsMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was a fast-paced book that was a joy to read. I have to admit, I am reading this series out of order, but I was able to understand what was going on enough that I was not confused. I thought the book would be predictable, but that was not the case. It seemed like any time something happened, it threw all the theories I had out the window.
For me, one of the reasons I felt that all the twists and turns were possible is because of the fact that it’s a story about a bunch of spies. I had to sit there and stop myself from believing everything the characters were saying. People have covers in the spy world, and this book uses that to its advantage. You think you know what is going on with a character, and then you discover that you really know nothing.
Even though this series is for kids, I feel like it is still enjoyable for those of us who have sadly left childhood behind.
