Nice Try, Jane Sinner

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

After reading this book I really want to know, is this something that could actually happen in Canada? I feel like in the United States, there would have been a lot of red tape to go through in order for a college student to be able to make a reality show. It made for a great story though, so if it isn’t something that would be able to happen as easily as it does in them book, that’s okay. You don’t read fiction for logic.

There were some great moments in this book. For me, I think I just ended up confused about the whole school situation. Different countries handle school differently, of course, so Jane going to a community college to finish high school just didn’t make sense to me, but I just rolled with it.

For me, the fridge moments were some of the best in the book, even though they were really random. I feel like those moments really helped to show the personalities of the characters, which made actions later in the book more understandable. Plus, I would really just like to mess with someone the way Jane does.
