Whatshisface

WhatshisfaceWhatshisface by Gordon Korman
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I have to admit, I’m not the biggest fan of Shakespeare, so part of this books plot really spoke to me. Not that I’m saying Shakespeare was a fraud or anything like that, but it was fun to read something that did not hold him up to some wonderful standard.

I also liked how Roderick Northrop teaches Cooper that there are ways to stand up for yourself, even when being bullied, without any violence. Being well-spoken can be just as intimidating to some people.

This is a great middle-grade read. It has a fast pace with mystery and adventure thrown in, which kept me entertained, and I am not in the age range this book is geared towards.
